DTEEC – Redevelopment of an Electrical Contactor’s Website
As a business grows, it’s essential that a company’s website reflects all changes and remains responsive to new technology and devices. For this next project, which started in Summer 2019, JJ Solutions were commissioned to redevelop the website of DTEEC (Down to Earth Electrical Contractors).
Client Brief – Web Design Services
Working across South London, Central London and Surrey, Down to Earth Electrical Contractors (or DTEEC) provides a wide range of electrical services for homeowners, from fault finding and repairs to lighting designs and alarm installations. They work in areas such as Balham, Earlsfield, Clapham, Wandsworth, Kingston and Wimbledon.
They felt their current website wasn’t responsive, had short and basic content and wasn’t accurately reflecting their services. They were getting good referrals thanks to their excellent reputation on Checkatrade, but not through the website, so tackling the web design and content would be the first step to attract more customers.

DTEEC worked closely with our web designers to produce new navigation for the website, expanded content and ensure the right changes were made. Each key service now has its own dedicated page, and there’s also an overview grid on the main services page to lead customers through to the section of the website they need.
As you can see from the results, the website looks and feels professional, emphasising the benefits of working with DTEEC, including their NICEIC membership, fantastic reputation and coverage across London and Surrey. We’ve also included a gallery of their work and added a contact form.
DTEEC used the services of our recommended copywriter to rewrite some of the wording on their pages. They’ve developed the content to create a more substantial overview of electrical services, adding more structure and flow to help increase conversions. They have also improved DTEEC’s Checkatrade, Trustatrader and Google My Business profiles.
